What is reliability?

Answer:
Reliability is a measurement of the longevity of a product.

Reliability is measured by how long a product can go between service intervals.  Automobiles are often judged based on their reliability, which is determined by how much or how little maintenance they require and how many years or miles they can go before they need to be replaced.

Reliability can also be used to refer to an individual or group of people who consistently deliver on their promises and who are known to complete services on time and in budget
It is much harder for an individual to be reliable than for a manufacturer to make a reliable product.
