Quantum is defined as the smallest indivisible amount of The term Quantum has been derived from Latin term “Quantus” which means “how much”. The various substances that be quantized are energy of elementary particles of matter (Fermions), Photon (Quantum of light) and Bosons. The branch of science which involves the study of Quantum is known as Quantum Physics. The Quantum Physics was developed due to the research work done by Max Planck, Albert Einstein, Niels Bohr, Werner Heisenberg, Erwin Schroedinger and many others. According to the Quantum Theory each and every substance which appears to be continuous has smallest possible value and therefore can be quantized. Quantum Theory applies even to space and time as well.
