A Wiki is a web program which allows individual
users to create and edit websites, link pages, etc., and are often of the community or forum type, where others may input data freely and easily with online editors.

One of the best known Wiki sites today is WikipediA, which is created by online contributors from around the globe.

Most Wiki sites are created with MediaWiki, a web application which uses a simplified markup language (without all the confusing tags and symbols used with standard HTML).
