What is Networking?

Answer:
Networking is the connection of computers and related equipment over various wiring, including cables, inside building wiring, private infrastructure and public infrastructure.
Local Area Networks (LANs) usually consist of connected computers, servers, printers, and hubs privately owned by a single business.  Wide Area Networks (WANs) are a combination of several LANs that are interconnected, sometimes over long distances, via the public network of standardized data and phone lines.
