How Do I Send Email?

Answer:
Sending email is a great way to communicate with family,
friends, and peers. Although there are many types of clients, including Outlook, Web-based, and Outlook Express, Microsoft’s Outlook Express is the most common in use by the average home user.

To begin with, open your Outlook Express client. Once the client is open, click the “Create Mail” button. This should open a new box, and this is where you will build your email. You have two options for addressing the mail. If you are sending a mail to someone in your contact list, simply click the “To” button, select the person, and click the “To” button on the right. You can also select to send and email to multiple people, in which case you can also use the “CC” button to copy them in on the message. Click “OK” when you are finished adding names. You can also choose to add names manually to the “To” field, by typing in the format: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Then, give the email a unique subject in the “Subject” field. Do not give this a meaningless title or leave it blank, as some Spam filters will flag or remove emails that are formatted in this way.

All that is left is to type your message in the big box, and then click the “Send” button.
